Everest (14 to 28 days)
The name "EVEREST" is magic in itself. Everest (8848m.) is called "SAGARMATHA" in Nepali – "Higher than the Sky" and "CHHOMOLUNGMA" in Tibetan – "Mother Goddess of the Earth". The quickest and easiest way to reach this region is by flight to Lukla at 2827 m. The Solu – Khumbu region has sweeping glaciers, magnificent mountains, forests, animals, birds, monasteries and is the home of the world famous Sherpa people. Sherpas are the real mountaineers of Nepal. In 1953,Tinzing Norgay Sherpa became one of the first men to conquer Mount everest along with Sir Admon Hillary of New Zealand. For an extended trek and experience of village life, we start the trek to this region at Jiri, a 10 hours drive from Kathmandu. This option requires 26 to 28 days.
Annapurna (8 to 30 days)
This is the most famous and popular trekking area in Nepal. With the exception of the Annapurna Circuit, all treks begin at Pokhara, a lakeside city with a marvelous mountain backdrop. Here you may visit lake, Devi's Falls, caves, plunging gorges, museums, a Tibetan camp or simply enjoy the unsurpassable views of the Annapurna Range. Options for your trek includes a climb up to Poon Hill to see the sunrise over Annapurna peaks and Machhapuchhare. Visit Ghandrung, a large and typical Gurung village. This is the home of many of the Gurkha soldiers, famous for their brave exploits in World War and more recently, the Falk and War.
There are natural hot springs in this area, a welcome place to relax for the weary trekkers. Another favourite destination is Muktinath, a holy pilgrimage for both Hindus and Buddhists. The mountain scenery will bring you lifetime memories. The option of Annapurna Circuit gives the trekkers a chance of an adventure of crossing Thorong Pass (5416m.). Langtang Gosainkunda (10 to 12 days)
A pleasant eight hours drive pastTrishuli Bazar brings you to Dhunche, the starting point of this trek. A variety of sights including Buddhist monasteries, a cheese factor factory, yaks, glaciers and mountain lakes make this trek an exciting one. You will visit Gosainkunda, one of the holiest lake in Nepal, where thousands of pilgrims throng each August to bathe in its cold and spiritually refreshing water.
Shivapuri (4 to 5 Days)
This trek begins at Budhanilkantha with the option end at Nagarkot or Dhulikhel. Budhanilkantha offers you the sight of the ancient statue of lord vishnu sleeping on a bed of snakes. Beautiful, long-range views of mountains and magnificent view of sunset and sunrise and the effect of the change of colour over the mountains will be seen from the slopes of Shivapuri, the second highest hill on the Kathmandu Valley rim. This trail is popularly known as Rhododendron Trail because this trail bath with rhododendron flower in spring.
